There it is, the perfect ivory silk blouse peaking out of the polyester masses on the thrift store rack. As you push it’s hanger back to get a better view, it’s elegant drape is dimmed by two honking pit stains under either arm. We’ve all been there, meeting disappointment head on while admiring an otherwise lusty garment.

Sweat stains. They’re unavoidable and many times viewed as unapproachable in their eradication. Because of this, thrift stores and estate sales often have perfectly wearable, and even covetable vintage pieces left on the racks.

But I have a cure! A miracle pairing that I’ve personally used on wool, silk, and cotton to successfully remove sweat and other tough, unsightly stains on blouses, jackets, tee shirts, dresses and sweaters.
